Notes for everyday choices
Read a personal-care label before you choose
Read the actual label and use instructions before deciding. If an online listing leaves a detail unclear, ask for a legible label photograph and an answer from the maker.
Keep the useful details together
Look for the ingredient information, maker or responsible business, batch details, use-before or expiry information, directions and warnings that apply to the item. India’s Cosmetics Rules are an official reference; requirements and exceptions depend on the product and pack. This guide is a shopping prompt, not a complete labelling audit.
A product name and a lifestyle photograph cannot replace a readable label. Before you buy online, save the listing details and ask about any differences between the photograph and the pack you would receive.
Give “natural” a follow-up question
Ask what the term describes: an ingredient, the formula, the packaging or a process. It does not tell you whether an item will suit your own skin or routine. Avoid turning a material preference into a promise about safety or results.
Greenvy’s planned personal-care range will require maker and product review before listing. No ingredients, brands or formulations in that future range are being recommended by this guide. For a medical concern or a past reaction, ask an appropriate healthcare professional rather than relying on a shopping label.
Check whether a new format fits your day
A bar, concentrate or refill needs a workable routine. Ask about dry storage, dilution if instructed, the correct reusable container and whether refills are actually available. Follow the maker’s directions; do not invent dilution ratios or mix products.
Compare the amount you can use within the stated period, the complete delivered price and the care required. A larger pack may be a poor fit if it sits unused. A change should make your day easier to manage, not add another object you cannot care for.
Keep this checklist
- Read a clear photograph of the actual label.
- Find ingredients, batch and applicable use-before information.
- Read directions, storage and warnings before choosing a format.
- Ask about an unclear claim or missing detail before buying.
A question to take to the maker
Could you share a readable label, the use and storage instructions, and the evidence for this claim?
